SUMMARY:Solfest
DESCRIPTION:Solfest will be held on June 20th\, 2025\, from noon-10:30pm at Metea County Park\, Fox Island’s sister to the north\, located at 8401 Union Chapel Road\, Fort Wayne. We give 100% to Allen County Parks. Join us for a fun filled day of local music \, food trucks\, brews provided by Ambrosia Orchard and Fortlandia Microbrewery\, and dozens of eclectic craft vendors all coming together an amazing cause! Help us keep nature programs at the county parks:-) Fun for ALL AGES!! We have spinners\, swimming\, hiking\, bounce houses\, and plenty of other fun activities all day long! Please bring bathing suits and towels and hop a ride on a golf cart to the lake! Please no outside alcohol\, well behaved pets are welcome with a leash\, and you may bring water bottles and bags that are subject to be opened/searched at the welcome booth as you enter the park. Feel free to bring all forms shade and water misters! Chance to win a free parks pass and other door prizes when you enter! \nThis festival was created to celebrate and support one of Fort Wayne’s natural gems\, Fox Island County Park\, and we have expanded to reach Metea County Park as well. We are excited to be a part of the community efforts that will see Both of our county parks prosper as a resource for sustaining biodiversity and recreation/education in our community. \nWe are currently seeking sponsors and in kind donations for the silent auction. The silent auction is Huge part of our park fundraising and contributes to a fourth of what we actually give the parks.
