DESCRIPTION:Monarch Festival\nThe Little River Wetlands Project announces its annual Monarch Festival to be held on Sunday\, September 20\, 2026\, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve barn\, located at 6801 Engle Road\, Fort Wayne. \nThis family-friendly event is open to the public. Adults are $3. Children and LRWP members are free. \nCelebrate the incredible lifecycle and transformation of monarch butterflies through a variety of engaging programs and activities: \n– Live Monarch Displays: Observe monarchs at different stages of their life cycle\n– Butterfly Tagging: Participate in tagging monarch butterflies before their release\n– Educational Presentations: Enjoy learning stations and hands-on activities for all ages\n– Plant Giveaway: Take home milkweed\, the only plant on which monarchs lay eggs\n– Local Projects: Learn about local efforts to support native pollinators from our community partners
