DONATE TO ECO FEST FORT WAYNE
Our goal is to fundraise $3,400 to help expand our Zero Waste Station
This year for Giving Tuesday, we are fundraising for our Zero Waste Station.
Imagine how much compost and recycling we could divert from the landfill if our Zero Waste Station was at every summer festival in Fort Wayne, or every Saturday Farmer’s Market. The impact would be significant.
But we need your help. We brought our Zero Waste Station to 3 events this year, which was a significant step in scaling our operation, but it showed us what we could further improve to streamline our process. Can you help us close the gap in our funding?
Wish List
BRANDED 10’X20’ POP UP TENT: This would replace our current unbranded tent that has several broken parts. A branded tent allows for better visibility for attendees who need to locate the station, and gives us a higher quality tent with a better warranty.
$2,000
PORTABLE SCALE: Allows staff to accurately track how much trash, compost, and recycling is produced daily at events. This data helps create a better understanding of the impact our station has at events.
$200
SMALL UTILITY TRAILER: This will both store and haul the 330 gallon IBC tote we use to collect gray water at events, making it easier to move on a regular basis.
$900
ALUMINUM CATERING PANS: This would allow us to do ‘food rescue’ from food vendors and donate it.
$100 for 100 pans and lids
COMPOSTABLE CLEANING WIPES: We use compostable wipes during events to wipe down our tables and bins.
$20 for a 3 pack (asking for 5 packs)
COMPOSTABLE GLOVES: We use compostable gloves during events while sorting food and cleaning the station.
$10 per box (asking for 10 boxes)
GOAL: $3,400
